The UK is prepared to move forward with utilizing the total value of frozen Russia's assets to aid Ukraine's war effort, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has stated.

In a collective announcement, the heads of state of the Britain, the French Republic, and Germany asserted that this coordinated action would increase strain on Russian President Vladimir Putin and urge Russia to participate in talks.

They added that the decision would be executed in strong partnership with the America.

UK restrictions have blocked more than £25bn of Russian resources since the Russian government began its comprehensive attack against Ukraine in 2022. However, previously, funds sent to the Ukrainian government using Russian holdings had solely been taken from profits and interest earned on them.
